The B8007 a tarred single track road, with good passing places, running from Salen to the western end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula must be one of the most scenic roads in Britain.
At Glenborrodale the road passes the impressive Scots baronial castle, the RSBP walking reserve and then skirts the rocky edges of Glenmore Bay.
There you will find the Ardnamurchan Natural History Visitors Centre, where you can stop for a welcome break from the - should we say - rather exciting road. Great fun!
